The Statistical Pocketbook of Maldives 2024 (MBS) is a compact compendium of official statistics through 2023. It records the Census 2022 resident population of 515,132 (382,639 Maldivians, 132,493 foreigners), GDP of MVR 101,413 million at current prices in 2023 (MVR 96,864 million at 2019 constant prices, 4.7% real growth), annual inflation of 2.9% in 2023, and a total fish catch of 161 thousand metric tonnes in 2023.
