The Ministry of Tourism's Tourism Yearbook 2025 reviews Maldives tourism performance for 2020-2024. Tourist arrivals reached a record 2,046,615 in 2024 (+8.9%), surpassing two million for the first time, with China leading source markets at 263,042 arrivals. Registered accommodation capacity grew to 65,286 beds across 1,275 establishments, bednights rose to 13.34 million, and national occupancy stabilized around 59% with an average stay of 7.4 days.
